The Montessori Toddler by Simone Davies
In the Montessori approach, the toddler (ages 18 months to 3 years) plays an active, purposeful role as a naturally curious and capable learner. Rather than being seen as passive recipients of information, toddlers are viewed as constructors of their own development. Their role is to explore, absorb, and make sense of the world through movement, sensory experience, and repetition.
